New
members welcome are welcome at Rye Camera Club
Whether you are an
accomplished photographer or a beginner, if you have an
interest in photography we welcome you to our small
friendly club. No matter what your camera, be it
digital or otherwise you will find a warm welcome and
you may attend as a visitor for a couple of meetings to
decide if you like us or not!
Our meetings are held in the Playden W.I. Hall which is
situated in School Lane just behind the Peace and Plenty public house
in Playden which is on the junction of the A268 and
B2082. Postcode for the Peace and Plenty for your Sat
Nav is TN31 7UL. The hall has a car
park diagonally opposite a few metres down the lane.
Where to find us
The club attracts people from
many walks of life and encourages members to further
their photographic interest in a friendly and informal
manner. There are ample opportunities for members to
display, discuss and improve their work by way of
exhibitions and competitions, and to share the knowledge
and experience of fellow members or guest speakers.
An ideal introduction to the club would be
to attend our annual print exhibition on 13th September
where you can view the work from more than 20 of our
members, many of whom will be in attendance throughout
the day and ask anything you wish to know about our
photography and the club in general. Thank you for
showing an interest in Rye and District Camera Club.
